Poor Baby

Wickers loves this toy... He always brings it us to show off
"look what I caught for you!"
And anytime there is a box he just has to test it out!

So for some time we have wanted to take Wickers into the vet, because he has some scabs on the sides of his mouth and around his eyes. I thought that they might be stress induced because he has traveled and been put into a whole new environment with Javis and I. Luckily they don't seem to be bothering him which is a relieve to us.

Last week we took him to the vet and unfortunately it wasn’t something as simple as I would have liked. The vet wanted to biopsy it since she was sure that it was a sign of a weak immune system and that would be the only way to know for sure. But since we don’t have that kind of money right now she gave us some antibiotic and steroids that we have to give him everyday for two weeks. She said that she was sure it would clear up but she didn’t know for how long. He hates his medicine but who can blame him, he's such a little trooper and I am hoping for the best! He's our best friend and we would hate for anything to happen to him or for him to be in any sort of pain.

Weekend Adventures

Okay so its been a while since our last post. A lot has been happening but not a lot of stuff out of the ordinary. Javis is busy with work and has been traveling a lot to the different stores in southern Idaho and Utah. Work keeps him extremely busy but he is enjoying it! : )

One of the great things about where we live is that there are a lot of bigger cities around us. So on Saturdays we love to go visit one of them and just spend the day there looking around. We don't always make it to Salt Lake though since its a little further away.

But a few weekends ago we made a trip to Salt Lake... we have been there a few times but haven't really drove around the city that much. We ended up going to the mall there which was really cool... there were a lot of neat stores that we didn't have back in Idaho. On our way out of Salt Lake we drove up to the Capital building... we told ourselves that next time we would go in for a tour! On the right side of the Capital building there was this big drop off... I was thinking is there water down there or something? Because that's what you would expect but when we drove over there and got out of the car we realized that there was a park down there... it was pretty neat. On our next trip into Salt Lake we're gonna have to find out how to get to it : ) I ended up taking a couple pictures of it... we were starving and in a hurry to get to dinner so I didn't get any pictures of us together unfortunately so these will have to do..
