Picture Tag!

So Shasta is probably thinking "I tagged you Chaylia now where is your picture?" : ) Well here it is!
It defiantly makes me smile to see this picture. It doesn't matter what Javis and I are doing we are always having a great time! I remember laughing hysterically the whole time these pictures were taken!! This is defiantly a neat thing to look at old pictures. When I found this one, I started looking at all the other ones as well. Javis and I have had some GREAT times together and we still have many more to come!!

Now for picture description:
As most of you know Javis and I took Christmas pictures last year for our Christmas cards. My brother took them for us and they turned out very well. But at the beginning he couldn't figure out whether he should use the flash or not so he was just messing around in order to figure it out. Well Javis and I decided to do silly faces.... and tada here they are!! Fourth file-fourth picture!! Hope you all enjoy : ) hehe

Ouch!!

Well Javis has every Monday off, and since I have school on Mondays and I am gone until noon. Javis usually goes to the Church to play basketball with the missionaries. He always has such a blast because lets just face it he loves anything that involves a basketball. Well yesterday after school I came home and called him to see where he was... he said I'm just leaving. I asked him if he was okay because I could tell something was going on. He said " I think I broke my hand" and automatically I went into panic mode. In a few minutes he was home, and lets just say his hand was extremely swollen. (We both agreed that it looked like a blown up latex glove, and still does!) I felt so bad for him and I could tell he was in pain. He says that he jumped up to shot a basket and the guy behind him had ducked down for some reason. And when Javis came down the guy was behind him and Javis ended up putting his hand down first in order to catch his fall .. as we know now he landed on his had completely wrong. : /
... But to make a long story short he went into the hospital and had his Mom do an x-ray ...

and everything looked OK. So we are super relieved that nothing was broken. However, he is going to have to give it some tender loving care : )

Ice Cream-FUN

Well last Friday was our 2 month anniversary. It was the day that we had been married for two months and together for two years and two months. So it was a very special day for us. Javis had work and I had school. But that night after we ate dinner we walked to baskin robbins! It was dark outside but it wasnt a very far walk. We had such a blast!! We laughed and laughed and it just showed how special it is to be with each other it doesn't matter what were doing : )
We love married life and we love that we get to spend almost all our time together. It is so great, and we are truly happy! And we defiantly love each other more and more every day!!

( Javis seems to find my sad face extremely hilarious.. he is so funny, I love him SOO much)

New Chairs!

So a couple weeks ago my Mom and I went thrift store shopping. *and for those of you who haven't been over Javis and I only had two chairs at our dinning table _so we were in need of two more. So we stopped at this thrift store and they had two matching chairs... I looked at my Mom and said well I wouldn't pay more than 5dollars each... because I would need to fix them up. She agreed and went and asked how much they were. The lady said... 5dollars each!! And Bam I left with two chairs! They were both a lighter color of wood and had a pretty poor quality of fabric on them. I had to sand them down first then re stain them. I bought new padding for the seats and then put on new fabric that was more my style. They turned out very nice! The wood may look black in the pictures but it is just a dark brown. I love refinishing furniture. I have a big project after this. I have a rocking chair that is most likely over 100 years old. It needs all new upholstery. Which is quite a job. I bought the new upholstery fabric yesterday !! And now I need to find a book that will help me through this project. I know its pretty complicated but I know I can figure it out! I just love doing furniture! I must say I have a passion for it... it just helps me relax. No matter what happened that day .. all the stress just disappears as soon as I start working on my furniture.. : ) weird huh?

Family Moments

Last Sunday was so wonderful!Javis & I went to Moscow along with the rest of the Cornett clan for Sienna's blessing! It was such a wonderful day and we will never forget it!! We had such a great time with all of the family, and wow is it fun to officially be an Aunt. : )We all had a really great time, and we are so thankful to have each other to lean on!!

We now have all of our wedding photos... and they are just beautiful! Our Photographer did such an amazing job!! We are so happy and we just loved having her take our pictures!

We have so many that they don't all fit on one slide show. So I will but up another slide show soon with pictures of family & friends!!

Brother & Sister

Just this past weekend Sarah and I were talking about our siblings and I realized that all I could do was brag and brag about my little brother and that got me thinking...I've been thinking how lucky I am to have him in my life! I know I only have one brother but I am lucky that we are so close and that we can talk about anything! I know that he will always be a big part of my life! I am so proud of everything that he does, I know that he makes good decisions and I know how hard that can be during high school!! He is just so hard working and Javis and I cant wait to start going to his football games !!

Also I am even luckier to have so many brother in-laws & sister in-laws!! It is so wonderful to have such a big family! & it is even better to have two families that get along so well! Javis & I are so blessed!!

Family Matters

So we just got back last night from Moscow! We had such a great time! We left Saturday morning and stayed till Monday! We got to spend time with baby Sienna and play with little Breck-a-million!! We all went to church on Sunday which was wonderful - I always enjoy Sundays a little more when we're with family : ) We were especially excited because we had a special surprise for Sarah. We know how hard she works and we wanted to let her know how thankful we are for all that she did to help us, how thankful we are that she took so much time and threw me a wonderful bridal party!! ... and so we got her a Maya wrap! Its the coolest thing, she can hold Sienna and have both hands free. The really cool thing about it also is that Josten can use it!! I hope that they enjoy it : ) We are so thankful for our family and the time that we get to spend with each and every one of them!

Just the beginning

Today we decided to set up our own Blog website- that way we can keep in touch with all of our family and friends!! We are trying to get all of our honeymoon pictures up and, as soon as we get all of our wedding photos we will put them up as well!! We know that everyone wants to see : )

We are so excited to be starting our own family-it is a wonderful thing to join two families together!! Our wedding was so beautiful and perfect. We can hardly believe that its over. We are officially husband and wife and we couldn't be happier! We have come so far- it has been over two years since we met at the lake. We were complete strangers and now we couldn't see our selves without each other! Our love is so strong- we have been through so much and it has only made us stronger! We are looking forward to our future together!!
