Santa is that you?

So I forgot to mention that last weekend while we were all out getting our Christmas decorations we ran into Santa!! Weird thing was though ...

he looked a lot like Javis. : )

2 weeks old

My little baby is already going on three weeks old!
I can't believe it!
She has been loving her time with Grandma and so am I!!

The most wonderful time of the year!

Since Christmas is right around the corner we decided to do a little decorating : )
Last Saturday we went out to Ogden and got all our decorations for our Christmas tree and then Javis brought me, my mom, and Liliana home while he went to run to walmart. But he actually surprised us by coming home with a Christmas tree!! It is absolutely beautiful! So we spent the night listening to Christmas music and decorating the tree. It looks great and it is really putting us all in the Christmas spirit! Then yesterday my Mom helped me finish my Christmas wreath for the front door and it turned out great! It is so nice to have my Mom here... not only is she such great help but it is really nice to have family here this time of the year! We are really enjoying every moment we have her here with us : )

Welcome Liliana

The wait is over!!

Thursday November 19th at 2:00pm Liliana was born!!

She was 5 lbs 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long!!

Labor went well and we are all doing great : ) We came home Saturday afternoon and have been enjoying our time together! Thank you for everyones support and for keeping us in your prayers! I will try to update with more pictures as soon as I can... but I am trying to focus on baby right now : )

The big day!

So I just wanted to write a quick post and let everyone know that I am going to be induced this Thursday at 6 0clock am! So Liliana will be here November 19th!! I went in for my weekly check up and found out that I am dilated to a 3 and my cervix is 90 percent thinned out. My doctor asked me if I would like to be induced next week and I said maybe... He then said that we should do a quick ultrasound to make sure she was growing alright and that everything was fine. So that I could be induced next week.... But then

we went and did the ultrasound and he said that she is only about 5 lbs and 9 oz. He is worried because last month when I had my ultrasound she was in the right percentile and was growing fine... but since then she has dropped dramatically. Which leads him to think something could be wrong. ( she is in the 2nd percentile which means that for being at 38 weeks 98 percent of babies are bigger then her) He did more test on me today because he thought he may even have to induce me today... luckily everything looked okay so he said that I could go home as long as I pay super close attention to her movements and that he will see me on Thursday for labor. Since she is full term now and I am 38 weeks it is better to be safe then sorry he said. It is better to induce me then to let her sit in there and take the chance that something is wrong or could go wrong.

I am just thankful that I have a great doctor who watches me closely and wants to make sure my baby is safe. I am a little nervous but excited! I am still praying that everything is okay and that she is safe and healthy!

Update

So lately I have not only been anticipating the arrival of Liliana but also the arrival of my Mom! We are so blessed that she is coming to stay with us for two weeks! She is going to be such a great help and we know how stressful and difficult it is for her to get away from her job... so it really means a lot to us! She fly's down December 2nd and I cannot wait to see her and for her to finally get to see where we live! I know she is also really excited!

We are also still awaiting the arrival of Liliana... everyday we get closer and closer and we get more and more excited! I am doing good.... trying to get as much rest as I can before she comes. I have dilated a little further since my last appointment and my doctor is still guessing that she will be here before Thanksgivings ... so we'll have to see : ) I am 37 weeks and I cant even believe that half of November is already over! It is so crazy... I never thought I would actually be this close!

I am so amazed by pregnancy and how wonderful

it is to be pregnant!

I am now 36 weeks pregnant! I am so excited... and some days I'm a little sad that I wont be pregnant anymore and other days I'm so excited that it is almost over! I guess it depends on my mood. I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I am dilated to a 2! This means that Liliana will be here before Thanksgiving! My doctor said that he gives me about 2 more weeks if not sooner!! She is head down and has dropped, my cervix is already 85 % effaced. Which means she isn't wasting anytime she is just as excited to see us and we are to see her!! I am trying to take as many pictures as I can now since I could go into labor anytime. And since Javis is at work I am left to take my own pregnancy pictures ....hope you don't mind : )

Trick or Treat?

So I cant even believe that Halloween has came and gone! On Friday we had our neighbors over to our house for treats and to carve some pumpkins! Then on Saturday after we pasted out candy we met up with our neighbors again and played some games had some snacks and some delicious hot chocolate! We are so glad that we have such great neighbors that love to hang out and have a great time!

One Snowy Morning

This morning when we woke up and looked outside we were surprised to see that the mountains were covered in snow and that it was actually snowing outside! It wasn't sticking at all but the snow flakes were huge! I took a few pictures so that we could remember our first snowy morning here in Utah. There has been snow fall up in the mountains for a couple of weeks but we haven't seen anything here... until today! : )

Shower Time

So Saturday the 24th a couple of my friends here at the apartment threw me a baby shower! Everything turned out really nice and I am so grateful for everything that they did for me!! Its so nice to have good friends here, it makes it feel a lot more like home. I got more things that I defiantly needed and Javis and I are just about completely ready for Liliana to be here! Time has gone by so fast and right now it seems like the weeks are just disappearing... I cant even believe it. I had a blast and it will defiantly be something that I remember for ever... my very first baby shower : )

34 Weeks!!

Well my pregnancy is quickly coming to an end... I am already 34 weeks pregnant! I cant even believe how quickly time has passed. We are ready for her to be here and we are getting more and more excited everyday. I have been feeling great except for the tiredness, but I have been able to rest and have been busy preparing myself for her arrival! : ) I have really been enjoying being able to feel her move around and just recently have I really been able to feel strong movements. She is most active in the morning/afternoon around 10 o'clock to 12 probably and if I sit in a chair or car for too long she defiantly lets me know by sticking her feet in my ribs : ) Its been so fun and I am excited for my last month of pregnancy and even more excited for her to be here! We are just so happy and excited and we feel so blessed that there have been no complications and that she is healthy and growing!

THE KILLERS!!

We didn't really have any big plans for the weekend but when Javis' boss called and asked if we wanted two tickets to The Killers we couldn't pass them up! So on Saturday we got to go see

The Killers concert in Salt Lake!

Not only did we get to go to the concert but we got to sit in the Sprint booth which is always fun. There great seats and the food and drinks are all complimentary : ) This isn't the first time we've gotten to go to the E-Center in Salt Lake and every time we go we have a blast! Its really neat that Sprint has a booth there and that they reward their hardworking management!

Our Vacation

Well we had a great time in Post Falls visiting family and enjoying our vacation! We were super busy and I cant even believe that we were up there for two weeks... I don't know where the time went! We are so grateful for being able to see our families and to get to spend time with them! We are also grateful for all the baby stuff we got to take home with us!! We have truly been blessed! We basically have everything that we need it is so amazing! And I have had so much fun putting everything in place since we've been back!


One of the most exciting things we brought back was the crib bedding! My Mom made my crib bedding for me... which turned out so incredible!!! It couldnt have been better... it is exactly what I pictured in my head! Javis and I were so excited to get it home and put it on our new crib! We are so thankful for all the hard work she put into it and all that she has done for Liliana!

29 Weeks!

I am now into my third trimester and so far so good! I'm really starting to show now and its so exciting!! Since I'm finally having trouble wearing my clothes my Mom helped me pick some out while we were up in Post Falls and they are so comfy and soft... I love them! I just cant believe how quick this is all happening!! Its so great and I'm really enjoying it : )

Are We CRaZy?

Last saturday we got a new cat...Well he's actually only a kitten! He's a orange tabby and only 5 months old! We decided to name him Milo! He loves to be held and is almost always purring. Wickers and him are still getting to know each other but each day they get along a little more : ) When Milo isnt sleeping he's following Wickers around everywhere! They are so cute together and I hope that they can keep each other company and try to behave themselves : )

24 Weeks!!

I Will be 25 Weeks tomorrow but I wanted to take another picture because I feel like I am growing so fast!! I have been feeling fairly good and am looking forward to the rest of my pregnancy. Because it seems as if things are really starting to pick up pace! And now that we're getting the nursury set up I am getting so excited for her to be here!

1 Year!!

Since my brother was still here visiting we spent the day with him at Lagoon... We had a blast celebrating our 1 year anniversary!!It was a special day and we were really glad to be able to spend the day together and to remember all that we have been through and how much our love has grown!! We have been together for 3 years now and everyday we learn new things about each other and about ourselves. Each day is a new adventure and the most important part of each day is that we have each other!!

Jerry comes to Utah

My brother got to take a whole month of vacation! First he went to California to visit my Dad's side of the family (so basically all the Silva's) and then he went to Boise and spent time with my Aunt and my Grandpa Silva. And then we drove to Boise and picked him up so he could spend about a week and a half with us! It was SO much fun having him here!! He left on tuesday and it has been different without him. We were so busy while he was here... we took him to Salt Lake City, we took him to Ogden a couple times to go shopping and to go out and eat, we went to the pool and we even made it down to Lagoon! We had a blast and I really enjoyed his company... we miss having him around but we are really glad he came and spent some of his summer with us!

22 Weeks!

Well this post is a couple weeks late... since my last post with a pregnancy picture was at 16 weeks. But we have just been so busy and I finally just got Javis to take a picture of me! Anyways I am 22 weeks and time is just flying by!! I am finally starting to find my regular jeans uncomfortable and opt for more comfy clothes especially when I get home! I am also starting to have more of a baby belly and it is so much fun! She loves to kick me .... especially in the morning and at night. She is very active... We're just having a blast Javis loves to put his hand on my belly and feel her move! It is getting more and more exciting everyday!
