Holy June!!

I can not believe it is the middle of June already!! Where has time gone?
I got my wisdom teeth pulled in the beginning of May... I didn't get knocked out and they had to drill my jaw bone to get to my bottom two. So yeah it kinda stunk!! But I had my Mom here to help me with Liliana and to help out around the house. I am so thankful that she made the trip here to be with us during that time! I still cant believe tho that my mouth is not all the way healed ... getting your wisdom teeth pulled is a serious thing!! Luckily I have no more pain : )

Then towards the end of May we had our good friends Andrew & Megan Richards come stay with us for a night since they were in town. It was so good to see them and have them stay with us. A few days after they left Sherry and Gary came to visit us! It was so nice for them to be able to come and spend some time with us. We got to go do lots of fun things and enjoy the out doors a little bit. We went on a nice hike and got to take Sherry to Bear Lake which is so gorgeous! We also got to go to the crystal hot springs which was great fun too. We have never been out there, even tho it is only about 10 minutes from our house. Liliana did hurt her arm tho on our hike which was pretty nerve racking. Luckily her doctors office was still open and we were able to drive her straight there and they popped it back into place and she was almost immediately better.

We still have company tho because right now my cousin Rachael and her boyfriend Brian are here visiting us for a week. I'm so happy that she was able to come and see Liliana! She brought Liliana a huge stuffed Spongebob! And for all of you who don't already know ... Lili LOVES Spongebob. I will try to get some pictures up soon!

Liliana is getting so big and about a week ago we finally took her completely off her bottle. It was ruff at first and she still is only napping if she is laying with me... but she is doing REALLY good at night now : ) and we are so relieved. She is almost 19 months now and I cant believe how big she is. She loves other kids, she understands so much now, and is really starting to want to do everything on her own. We love her to death of coarse and I cannot imagine our lives with out her.

Easter 2011

We had a great Easter weekend and Liliana got to do her first Easter egg hunt with our neighbors. She didnt quite understand but had a great time anyways. My Mom sent her her 1st Easter basket and she had a blast going through and looking at all the toys. She kept saying "ooo" with her mouth in the shape of an O . It was so adorable!

I have tu tu's for little girls and headbands with cute denim flowers! But whats getting me really excited is the new ear warmers I have on there. My Mom has been helping me out and I am so excited to finally have them on there... They have these adorable flowers on them and they look SO cute on!! I get so many complements on them. Yard Work!

We are currently working on putting in our sprinkler system. And by "we" I mean Javis!! He has gotten all the hard work done so now the rest should go by pretty fast. I am so thankful for him working so hard all day at work and then coming home and working in the yard on the sprinklers until the sun goes down. : ) The weather hasn't been very consistent so we haven't been able to go out and work every day... But last Saturday I went out and helped him while Liliana was napping and then when she woke up we all went outside and Liliana got to play in the dirt! She had a blast, even tried to eat dirt for the first time.... YUMMY : )

Catch Up

We have had a busy past month or so... My brother & Bree came to stay with us for a week which was really fun! We also had my Grandpa Silva & Aunt Karen come stay that same week as well! We all had a blast together!! I love having them all here. Then at the end of the week we had my Aunt Marcia and Uncle Andy stay with us on there way to Vegas. It was so good to see them, it sure has been a long time! So we have been lucky to have family here but then it always takes a little while to get back into the swing of things! We also had Javis' birthday to celebrate! He turned 26 and we got to celebrate it with Jerry and Bree... we had ice cream cake, I made two pans of enchiladas with Bree and then we surprised Javis with new basketball shoes ! He was so happy!! Happy Birthday Javis, Your the Best! We have made better friends with our neighbors and have been busy spending time with them as well! Its so nice to live by great people we are so blessed to have friends like them. Javis has been working in the yard like CRAZY!! He is working on the sprinkler systems now and then we are going to put in our grass... it will be so nice to have a yard and I'm thankful for all of his hard work. Works all day and then comes home and works all evening on the yard! Liliana is getting so big. She has only one speed and that is: RUN! : ) She is starting to climb on almost anything she can and is really enjoying being outside and playing with our neighbors kids. She can say quite a few words now including Mom, Dad, Kitty, Sponge bob, and cracker. She has learned how to suck out of a straw and loves doing it! She is such a bundle of Joy!!

Liliana has been giving the cutest faces when she wakes up! Just in the last few days has she started standing up in her crib. And when I come in to get her she is just all smiles!! Its so adorable! She also has adopted a bear that my Mom gave her last year.. and it is covered in kisses... she loves to hold it and bring it to bed with her! She must know its getting close to Valentines day! : )

2011

So I know its already almost the end of January. But here is to a new year with new beginnings!

Im aloud to be late tho since I was still in Idaho for New Years. Javis and I even had to celebrated later when I got home : ) But anyways Its been a great year a lot happend. Most Importantly Liliana turned 1 and if you have kids you know what kind of change that can bring on : ) but I'm feeling ready for new adventures and Im excited for what 2011 has to offer! Javis and I are going on 5 years together...3years married. And I must say we have been through a lot but that's life & I wouldn't change it for anything! We are each others best friends and Im so thankful for that! I am grateful for all that I have!! For a beautiful daughter and a hard working husband. And also for a wonderful family who is always there for me to support me and love me unconditionally! This year is going to be filled with a lot of memories and I hope that I can stop and enjoy all of them. Also my brother goes to Afghanistan for a year this March and we will all miss him! I pray that God keeps him safe and brings him home as soon as possible.

So...Here is to another year of blogging : ) lol

We had a great time in Idaho and we are so fortunate that we got to spend Christmas with our family! We also went over to Grandma Sherry's house and got to spend time with all the Cornetts! Liliana had a blast with her cousins and Grandma Sherry got her a cool camera so she can practice taking pictures! I hate living away from our family but I am so thankful that we get to be with them during the holidays and that we get to make amazing memories like these! Liliana is so big now... I cant believe that this was her 2nd Christmas!! She was only a month old last Christmas : ) She is so much fun and really is growing up so fast!!

& ignore the dates on the pictures. I thought it would help me remember how old she was when I take pictures... but then it got all messed up : ) I gotta stop letting Liliana play with it ... LOL

Zebra Zebra Everywhere!!

Now that we have a house and could actually paint... I was so excited to get Liliana's room all set up! Javis worked so hard painting... it was a long weekend. Since her room was green... even the celling was green!! So it was a lot of work but it turned out great! We did one wall pink and the rest of the walls white : ) My Mom did Liliana's bedding for her crib, and I painted the shelf and did the letters for her name, made the rug, and made the sign to go over her door! Javis did a great job painting and we just love how it turned out!!
