Today we went out to Bear Lake for the first time and it was beautiful there. It was a perfect day to go because it was warm and there wasn't even a cloud in the sky! The lake is so blue and almost crystal clear... we thought it looked more like an ocean then a lake. It was all sand too.. so walking in the water was a lot more enjoyable then at most lakes : ) We had a great time and even though its pretty far away... I'm sure we will try to make it out there again sometime soon!

I am so excited and I know that there is a chance we wont be able to find out at this appointment but I am hoping that the baby will be cooperative and "show the goods" so to speak : )
I feel like I have been waiting for so long and to wait another month would be hard because I'm SO EXCITED!! But if not we'll wait until next month, because we'll have no choice : )

Big News!!
Javis and I are having a BABY!!
I am currently 14weeks along and my due date is November 30th!!
We couldn't be more excited as our life takes a different turn and we really start our own family! Even more exciting is the fact that in just two weeks we will get to find out if we're having a boy or a girl?? That is the big question ... and either way we will be thrilled just to know!! We have been so busy so we apologize to those of you who are finding out this way... but the one great thing about this blog is that it lets us keep in contact with all of the people we love and care about even when it seems like life is too busy! Well we will keep you updated with doctors appointments, and belly pictures... as soon as I start to show of coarse!

Wickers loves to PLAY
Just a few days ago we ended up getting Wickers a new play-place!
It was the cutest thing when Javis was trying to set it up... Wickers knew that it was for him and Javis couldnt get it built fast enough! I thought it was adorable he kept jumping in it and as soon as Javis finished he was as happy as could be!!
Our trip to Twin Falls
Last friday Javis needed to go to Twin Falls for work... since its a pretty long trip to make in one day I went with him to keep him company! After he got done with his work at the store we decided to go check out the town a little. When you first drive into Twin Falls you go over this huge bridge and below is this beautiful canyon with a lake and a huge park! Since it was a beautiful day we decided to go down and check it out, and Im glad we did! We had a blast and I cant wait tell we go again!
The beautiful water fall : )
This is from the top of the canyon
And this one is from the top of the canyon
You can really tell just how big it is from this picture!!

Update
Well again it has been a while since I last posted. A lot of really neat things have been going on that I'd been meaning to write about so this post might seem a little scattered : )
Everything was a little crazy for a while but things are right back on track and everything is better then ever before! I have been home from my trip to Coeur d' Alene for a while now and have been very busy. The weather is great here and I'm really enjoying getting to go out in the sun. Luckily the drive back wasn't bad because Javis came up for work and we got to drive back together which was really nice!
When I got home Javis had lots of surprises for me! One of which was a new car, while I was gone he traded in his truck... I am so excited I love it so much!! It is a 2007 Mercury Milan Premier... its absolutely gorgeous. We are very fortunate to have such nice things and most of all to get rid of that truck...we loved it but it was nothing but a problem no matter how much money we put into it! But really I am so lucky to have a husband that spoils me rotten!

On the other hand other great things have been happening as well.
*Wickers scabs have cleared up and he is completely healed! We can only hope that it stays that way even though he is off the medication that the vet gave to us.
*And my brother officially joins the Army on May 29th the day before his 17th Birthday! We are all so proud of you Jerry!!

Poor Baby
So for some time we have wanted to take Wickers into the vet, because he has some scabs on the sides of his mouth and around his eyes. I thought that they might be stress induced because he has traveled and been put into a whole new environment with Javis and I. Luckily they don't seem to be bothering him which is a relieve to us.
Last week we took him to the vet and unfortunately it wasn’t something as simple as I would have liked. The vet wanted to biopsy it since she was sure that it was a sign of a weak immune system and that would be the only way to know for sure. But since we don’t have that kind of money right now she gave us some antibiotic and steroids that we have to give him everyday for two weeks. She said that she was sure it would clear up but she didn’t know for how long. He hates his medicine but who can blame him, he's such a little trooper and I am hoping for the best! He's our best friend and we would hate for anything to happen to him or for him to be in any sort of pain.

Weekend Adventures
Okay so its been a while since our last post. A lot has been happening but not a lot of stuff out of the ordinary. Javis is busy with work and has been traveling a lot to the different stores in southern Idaho and Utah. Work keeps him extremely busy but he is enjoying it! : )
One of the great things about where we live is that there are a lot of bigger cities around us. So on Saturdays we love to go visit one of them and just spend the day there looking around. We don't always make it to Salt Lake though since its a little further away.
But a few weekends ago we made a trip to Salt Lake... we have been there a few times but haven't really drove around the city that much. We ended up going to the mall there which was really cool... there were a lot of neat stores that we didn't have back in Idaho. On our way out of Salt Lake we drove up to the Capital building... we told ourselves that next time we would go in for a tour! On the right side of the Capital building there was this big drop off... I was thinking is there water down there or something? Because that's what you would expect but when we drove over there and got out of the car we realized that there was a park down there... it was pretty neat. On our next trip into Salt Lake we're gonna have to find out how to get to it : ) I ended up taking a couple pictures of it... we were starving and in a hurry to get to dinner so I didn't get any pictures of us together unfortunately so these will have to do..

one hAppY B-day!!
Javis & I spent his birthday in the one and only beautiful Coeur d' Alene Idaho (since we're now both frequent flyers)! We had a blast together and later that night we went out for sushi and a movie. I didn't think I liked sushi... but I must say I think I am now an addict : ) I cant wait to go home and look for a sushi restaurant that we can go to! We had a really nice time together and it was very relaxing... I don't think we've had anything really like that since we've been married.. It was really great!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!

Our Little Man
We have found so much entertainment in Wickers... I know that we both cant imagine how we could live without him! He brings us so much joy and no matter what he is always there for us!! He's our little companion and no matter what we are doing he's always by our side watching and analyzing ... Last Sunday Javis and I were busy making lunch and Wickers insisted on sitting on top of the cupboards by the heater... while he was up there I got this cute video of him!

Home Sweet Home
Well we have been in our new apartment for exaclty 11 days.. so almost two weeks!
We are definitely starting to feel more settled in.. everything is unpacked and put into place all we have to do is hang a few things on the wall. Javis has been traveling quite a bit... sometimes its just a day trip and other times its a few days. He got to go to St. George last week which from what I hear is like a little peice of California. : ) I cant wait until we get to go there together!
We have been busy and have been meeting new people and making new friends. We have also been fortunate to already have family come and visit. Its surprising how much has happened in 11 days! Its so exciting to be in a new place and to go through this journey together! Everything is new to us and we love it here a lot more then we had expected!

Before the Move
*Well we have been so busy that I have had little to no time to blog about whats been going on. Especially before the move...
*But we had fun packing up all our stuff and spending time with all our family! Even though it was stressful we stuck together and made it threw all the challenges.
*A lot of wonderful things occurred before we left... my cousin Kayleen had her baby girl Addyson! And our sister Shawnte had her baby boy Vance! We wish we could have spent more time with the both of them before we had to leave! They both are so precious!

Our trip 2 Utah
So last Tuesday we left for Utah. When we first got off our plane and into our rental car we drove down to downtown Salt Lake where we got to see the Salt Lake Temple and walk around Temple Square. Even though we didn't get to spend as much time down there as we would have liked it was a truly amazing experience. And we are lucky that we will only be an hour away! While we were there Javis did some training and got some experience in his new position. He did a great job on his presentations and I am so very proud of him!! On Saturday we went out looking for our new home. We found a beautiful brand new 2bed 2bath apartment that is close to Javis' office and is close to school for me. We are super excited and cant wait to be all moved in. We came home on Sunday and have been busy ever since. While we were there we had a great time hanging out with Javis' bosses and their wife's. On Friday we all went bowling and had ice cream which was alot of fun. We are really looking forward to spending more time with them, we know that we are going to build some life-long friendships while we are there!

Playing with Family
Javis and I got to go down to Tri-Cities last weekend. We left Friday and came back home Monday... only to leave for Utah on Tuesday. On Saturday we all went to the park and then came home and played Aggravation and drank hot chocolate! Katrina won so it ended up just being me and the kids. It was really fun to get to hangout and play games and to just relax. Jayden really loved playing with my pink phone (I think the pink is what really made it his favorite... Hehe. We love you Jayden!!) But we have been very busy, and we are so glad that we got to spend time with our family! We had such a great time and it was hard to say goodbye. We hope that they will visit us in Utah as soon as they get a chance. We love them all very much!

Packing up for UTAH
Oh the joys of packing...
On Monday Javis and I spent the night packing up some of our things.
We have so much going on and we are trying to get as much done while we still have the time and the energy.
Luckily we got a lot done and we had a blast!
Once I got tired, I decided to take a little break and take some pictures of Javis doing the "work". Even though packing isn't very enjoyable Javis and I enjoyed each others company and had a great time...like usual!

New Projects
So lately I have been busy making my Christmas presents and my homemade Christmas cards. That has kept me busy for quite a while and even with Christmas over I am still working on a few more signs for Javis and I and some other family. Thanks to my Uncle Mark I had a whole bunch of wood pre-cut so I have been painting them and then witting the sayings on them free hand.
Some of them I hang with fabric which turns out really neat and some of them I just put hangers on the back. I had a few really big pieces so I did one of them for our new home!
And even though packing keeps me busy enough the time has come to take on a new project- so I decided to make a rug! I got the idea from my wonderful sister-in-law Sarah. I sure do like to keep busy with projects and crafts so I'm enjoying working on the rug-it seems to give me an escape from reality.
