Best Buds

Every time I come up to Idaho I always have to get together with my best friend Amanda. As most of you know Liliana was born November 19th and Amanda's little boy Landon was born December 19th. Ever since I met Amanda we always joke that our lives follow the same pattern and this is just another thing we have in common. Liliana and Landon love each other and I always have to get pictures of them together. The first two pictures are from last month when I was there and the bottom two pictures are from the month before last. I miss Amanda so much and I wish that we could see each other a lot more. She has been a true blessing in my life and I am so happy to have her in my life!

Four Months!

So Lilibug is four months old! There is such a difference between three months and four months it is amazing! She has learned how to roll over from her stomach onto her back, she is eating baby food now and so far bananas are her favorite, she is grabbing things that are in front of her and once she has them in her hand she just has to stick them in her mouth, and she is really aware of her surroundings and loves to smile! She is sleeping through the night and is really learning that sleeping flat on her back isn't as bad as she may of thought. She loves other kids and finds it fascinating that there are other people that are small just like her
: ) She is just a lot of fun!!

Grandma Sherry did an absolutly amazing job on the dress, we love her and we want to say thank you for all the time she spent on it!! I love the dress, everyone loved it, it is so beautiful. I knew it would be but when I saw it it had surpassed all of my expectations. It was perfect and it was just Liliana... I cant explain it.

Idaho Visit!

We had a great trip spending as much time with family as we possibly could. Liliana's blessing was very special and a day that we will cherish forever. Grandma Sherry made the most beautiful dress that I have ever seen and Liliana just looked adorable. We are so grateful for all the hard work she put into it! We are also grateful for all the family that made the special trip to come on Sunday!

Unfortunately I was feeling pretty sick before we left to Utah (suffering from these sever cramps that I just couldn't explain) and I was still feeling under the weather on Sunday so I didn't get to enjoy everyone as much as I would have liked. On Monday I had the sever cramps return and that's when I knew something just wasn't right. Javis took me into immediate care they weren't sure exactly what was going on but decided to treat it with some antibiotics and said that if they didn't help that they would assume I had a parasite. So they treated me for a bacteria infection in my intestines. Luckily it has been longer then a week and I have yet to have those horrible cramps return. I guess it was just the infections in my intestines. It was a hard trip to make feeling so horrible so when it came time for us to go back Javis and I decided that I should stay a little longer so that I could get to enjoy my family while I'm feeling better, since I had been so sick. So I'm still here in Idaho : ) Yay!

I miss Javis but luckily we get to skype so that Liliana and I can see him! He works so hard for us and I am grateful to have such a great husband. He lets me stay and play all day with my family while he goes to work... : / we love him and miss him mucho

Lili -bug

I cant even begin to believe that Liliana is now 3 months old!

She is so much fun and is beginning to do so many new things. She loves to talk and has almost mastered sitting up on her own. She is sleeping most of the night in her crib now and is beginning to really get her own little personality. We just love her so much! She is absolutely beautiful and everyday she gets cuter and cuter : )

Let there be Darkness?

So Wickers has taught himself how to turn off the lights. He is still trying to turn them back on but hasn't learned how to push them up... yet!This isn't a great video but its hard to catch him doing it. Because once he sees me with the camera he will no longer corporate : ) It is still weird to be in a room doing something and all of a sudden the lights go off. . .Silly Wickers

No way-- 7 weeks

We can't believe that Liliana is almost 2 months old!

She is growing so fast... last week she had a weight check and she weighed 7 lbs 7 oz! That is almost two pounds in two weeks! We are so happy that she is getting out of the danger zone when it comes to her weight.

She is so much fun! She is becoming more and more alert every day.

She stays awake for most of the day now... with the exception of a few cat naps : )

And she is sleeping alot better at night... only waking up once to be feed.She hasnt come to like her bath time yet... but I'm sure over time that will change.

She is such a great baby!

Its A New Year..

So these last few weeks have just flown by...

We were lucky enough to have Grandma Sherry, Grandpa Gary and even Uncle Jehkiah come and visit us for a week. And they even got to stay for New Years! We all went over to our neighbors house for new years and had a great dinner and played some pretty fun games!

I cant believe that 2009 has passed

When I look back some pretty amazing things have happened and I am thankful for all the blessing we have received over the past year.

Our family has grown and we have had the opportunity to move to Utah and become closer to one another. Not only that but we have had the chance to be on our own and to step out side of our box and make new friends and see new things.

I am looking forward to a New Year and to new adventures!

So I forgot to mention that last weekend while we were all out getting our Christmas decorations we ran into Santa!! Weird thing was though ...

he looked a lot like Javis. : )

2 weeks old

My little baby is already going on three weeks old!

She has been loving her time with Grandma and so am I!!

The most wonderful time of the year!

Since Christmas is right around the corner we decided to do a little decorating : )
Last Saturday we went out to Ogden and got all our decorations for our Christmas tree and then Javis brought me, my mom, and Liliana home while he went to run to walmart. But he actually surprised us by coming home with a Christmas tree!! It is absolutely beautiful! So we spent the night listening to Christmas music and decorating the tree. It looks great and it is really putting us all in the Christmas spirit! Then yesterday my Mom helped me finish my Christmas wreath for the front door and it turned out great! It is so nice to have my Mom here... not only is she such great help but it is really nice to have family here this time of the year! We are really enjoying every moment we have her here with us : )

Welcome Liliana

The wait is over!!

Thursday November 19th at 2:00pm Liliana was born!!

She was 5 lbs 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long!!

Labor went well and we are all doing great : ) We came home Saturday afternoon and have been enjoying our time together! Thank you for everyones support and for keeping us in your prayers! I will try to update with more pictures as soon as I can... but I am trying to focus on baby right now : )

The big day!

So I just wanted to write a quick post and let everyone know that I am going to be induced this Thursday at 6 0clock am! So Liliana will be here November 19th!! I went in for my weekly check up and found out that I am dilated to a 3 and my cervix is 90 percent thinned out. My doctor asked me if I would like to be induced next week and I said maybe... He then said that we should do a quick ultrasound to make sure she was growing alright and that everything was fine. So that I could be induced next week.... But then

we went and did the ultrasound and he said that she is only about 5 lbs and 9 oz. He is worried because last month when I had my ultrasound she was in the right percentile and was growing fine... but since then she has dropped dramatically. Which leads him to think something could be wrong. ( she is in the 2nd percentile which means that for being at 38 weeks 98 percent of babies are bigger then her) He did more test on me today because he thought he may even have to induce me today... luckily everything looked okay so he said that I could go home as long as I pay super close attention to her movements and that he will see me on Thursday for labor. Since she is full term now and I am 38 weeks it is better to be safe then sorry he said. It is better to induce me then to let her sit in there and take the chance that something is wrong or could go wrong.

I am just thankful that I have a great doctor who watches me closely and wants to make sure my baby is safe. I am a little nervous but excited! I am still praying that everything is okay and that she is safe and healthy!

Update

So lately I have not only been anticipating the arrival of Liliana but also the arrival of my Mom! We are so blessed that she is coming to stay with us for two weeks! She is going to be such a great help and we know how stressful and difficult it is for her to get away from her job... so it really means a lot to us! She fly's down December 2nd and I cannot wait to see her and for her to finally get to see where we live! I know she is also really excited!

We are also still awaiting the arrival of Liliana... everyday we get closer and closer and we get more and more excited! I am doing good.... trying to get as much rest as I can before she comes. I have dilated a little further since my last appointment and my doctor is still guessing that she will be here before Thanksgivings ... so we'll have to see : ) I am 37 weeks and I cant even believe that half of November is already over! It is so crazy... I never thought I would actually be this close!

I am so amazed by pregnancy and how wonderful

it is to be pregnant!

I am now 36 weeks pregnant! I am so excited... and some days I'm a little sad that I wont be pregnant anymore and other days I'm so excited that it is almost over! I guess it depends on my mood. I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I am dilated to a 2! This means that Liliana will be here before Thanksgiving! My doctor said that he gives me about 2 more weeks if not sooner!! She is head down and has dropped, my cervix is already 85 % effaced. Which means she isn't wasting anytime she is just as excited to see us and we are to see her!! I am trying to take as many pictures as I can now since I could go into labor anytime. And since Javis is at work I am left to take my own pregnancy pictures ....hope you don't mind : )

Trick or Treat?

So I cant even believe that Halloween has came and gone! On Friday we had our neighbors over to our house for treats and to carve some pumpkins! Then on Saturday after we pasted out candy we met up with our neighbors again and played some games had some snacks and some delicious hot chocolate! We are so glad that we have such great neighbors that love to hang out and have a great time!

One Snowy Morning

This morning when we woke up and looked outside we were surprised to see that the mountains were covered in snow and that it was actually snowing outside! It wasn't sticking at all but the snow flakes were huge! I took a few pictures so that we could remember our first snowy morning here in Utah. There has been snow fall up in the mountains for a couple of weeks but we haven't seen anything here... until today! : )
